Can I use an eSIM for internet when I travel to Turkey?

Yes. Airalo, Turksim and the eSIMs from N26 and Revolut are common choices. Install and activate the eSIM while you are still in Germany, before you fly, as activating it in Turkey can cause problems.

An eSIM is a common way to get internet in Turkey. Airalo and Turksim sell eSIM packages, and banks such as N26 and Revolut have their own. Some bank accounts even include small packages for free.

Timing is what matters: install and activate the eSIM while you are still in Germany, before the plane takes off. Installing some foreign eSIMs can be blocked in Turkey, so activating one there can fail. eSIMs set up in advance usually work without problems after landing.

You can also check whether your German operator (for example O2) has a travel package for Turkey, but an eSIM is usually cheaper.
