When you move into a new home in Germany, you need to register your address (Anmeldung) within 14 days.
You can book an appointment on service.berlin.de. You can go to any Bürgeramt in Berlin; it doesn't have to be the one in your district.
Bring your ID card or passport, the Wohnungsgeberbestätigung from your landlord and the completed Anmeldung form.
After registering you get a Meldebescheinigung. Keep it safe: banks, employers and many offices will ask for it.
