I want to invite my unemployed sibling from Turkey to Germany. Can they get a visa?
They can, but a Schengen visa may be harder to get for a relative who is not working. A Verpflichtungserklärung (commitment to cover costs) from the Ausländerbehörde improves the chances.
The consulate wants to be sure your guest will go back. So the application can be harder for a young relative who is not working, but a visa is still possible. Earlier Schengen visas in the passport can also help.
The best-known way to improve the chances is to become a sponsor. For this you get a Verpflichtungserklärung from the Ausländerbehörde (immigration office). It is an official document, different from a normal invitation letter. You send the original to the person you are inviting, and they add it to their visa application. For information and appointments, see the page on the Berlin service portal.
In the application you can give your own home as the address where they will stay. You can also add copies of your rental contract and residence card.
It helps if your guest carries a short note saying where they will stay, why they are coming and whether they have a return ticket. They can show it if asked at passport control.
