I'm a student and my family supports me from Turkey. What can I give as proof of income when renting?
A signed letter of support from your family and recent bank statements showing regular payments into your account can be accepted.
Landlords usually ask for proof of income. If your family supports you, ask them for a signed letter saying that they support you financially in every way.
Add bank statements showing the money your family sends to your account each month. You could give the statements for the last 6 months, for example.
You can show these statements even if your parents are retired or the money comes every three months. Whether they are accepted is up to the landlord.
