Do I need a blocked account for a job-seeker residence permit?
Normally yes: you must show you can support yourself, and a blocked account (Sperrkonto) is usually required for this. If you have a part-time job, your employment contract and payslips may also be enough.
If you work part-time after graduating, bring your employment contract and payslips (Gehaltsabrechnung). With these documents, the office has not asked for a blocked account before.
Which documents are enough can depend on your situation. Check with the immigration office before you apply.
