Is there an official website where I can learn German for free at home, and which level do I need?

Deutsche Welle's website has free online German courses from A1 to C1, and the menu is available in Turkish. You can also take a placement test. A1 is needed to join a spouse; the integration course aims at B1.

Deutsche Welle (DW) offers a free website for learning German: learngerman.dw.com. You can set the site menu to Turkish.

The site has courses from A1 to C1. For beginners there's a video course called "Nicos Weg". There's also a placement test (Einstufungstest), vocabulary practice (Deutschtrainer), article practice and daily news in easy German.

Which level do you need for what? To join your spouse in Germany you usually need A1 (a certificate such as Start Deutsch 1). The language exam at the end of the integration course aims at B1. To start a job-related language course (Berufssprachkurs) you usually need B1 or a completed integration course.

BAMF also recommends Deutsche Welle's free courses and the Goethe-Institut's Start Deutsch 1 practice test for learning German.

Learning online is a good start. But if you live in Germany, you may have a right to an integration course; look into that too.
