How can I start a job-related German course (Berufssprachkurs)? Do I need to do an integration course first?
Not always. Without an integration course, a telc B1 certificate can be enough to get a Gutschein from the Agentur für Arbeit for a B2 job-related language course.
Some job-related language courses require you to have completed an integration course (Integrationskurs) first. But not every route works this way.
Without any integration course, the Agentur für Arbeit (employment agency) has issued a Gutschein for a B2 job-related course against a B1 certificate. The Gutschein is a voucher that covers the course fee, and a telc B1 certificate was enough.
With a B2 certificate, a Weiterbildung (further vocational training) through the Agentur für Arbeit is possible afterwards too.
For an Ausbildung (vocational training), ask the place where you want to train, or the Agentur für Arbeit, whether a general B2 course is enough.
