Where can I read books cheaply in Berlin? Do libraries have Turkish books?
Berlin's public libraries are the cheapest option. If a library does not have a book, you can order it for a small fee of around 1 euro. There are Turkish books too, and the selection is not bad.
The Amerika-Gedenkbibliothek in Kreuzberg is one of these public libraries. If the book you want is not on the shelf, you can have it sent over from another library.
A library card costs a small yearly fee. It can be reduced or free for students and some other groups. The website of Berlin's libraries (VÖBB) lists the current fees.
